Eileen Villegas is an environmental and science writer from the Philippines. With a background in agriculture and a major in horticulture, she found her true calling in storytelling, sharing narratives on conservation, sustainability, and science in ways that spark curiosity and inspire action. She is particularly passionate about environmental and science communication, as well as the arts. She illustrated the poetry book Thank You. Salamat, which pairs Filipino poetry with illustrations of native flora and fauna to showcase the country’s rich biodiversity. She is based in Batangas, where the coffee is as bold and resilient as its people.
