In the Philippines, extreme weather events known as 'super typhoons' have not only affected coastal communities' livelihoods and homes but also severely damaged marine #biodiversity such as coral reefs and seagrass.

🌊 To support communities in tackling the severe effects of the #climatecrisis, GLFx Mindanao, led by @oceanusconservation, aims to spread awareness about #climatechange among the community through educational activities and foster collaboration to restore blue carbon ecosystems.
