Trisa Bhattacharjee, this year's Restoration Steward for mountains, begins her #biodiversity conservation story in the western Himalayas, home to macaques, porcupines, and the endemic Chamba Sacred Langur.

🌱 With her team of restoration practitioners at @zooreach, they are working to conserve and restore the region's flora and fauna. They have identified 275 native plant species and established a tree nursery to grow and restore some of these species.
