🍃 Honoring the vital role of Indigenous women in the fight against #climatechange!

On this #IndigenousPeoplesDay, the GLFx Brunca Chapter led by @diwoambiental.cr highlighted how Indigenous Women are leading the way forward in restoring ecosystems in #CostaRica.

From capacity building in entrepreneurship, to promoting #ecotourism, to planting trees, the GLFx Brunca Chapter promotes the active participation of Indigenous women in restoring their landscapes.

💡 Their project follows a local and gender equity approach to support Indigenous land recovery processes, reduce violence against Indigenous communities, and restore degraded ecosystems.
