🌿✨ Meet Dayana Blanco, The Protector of Uru Uru Lake ✨🌿

From the Bolivian highlands, Dayana Blanco (@blancoquirogadayana) has dedicated her life to restoring Uru Uru Lake in Bolivia, a vital ecosystem now threatened by pollution and climate change. As an Indigenous Aymara leader, she co-founded the Uru Uru Team (@uru_uru_team), using traditional knowledge to heal the waters—like crafting floating totora rafts that purify heavy minerals.

Through Warmi Shining, she also uplifts young Indigenous girls, challenging gender norms and proving that women belong at the forefront of environmental change. 💪🏽🌍
