World Health Day is a global health awareness day celebrated annually on 7 April. Established by the World Health Organization (WHO), it serves as a platform to highlight critical health issues impacting people around the world.
Each year, a different theme is chosen, which serves as a rallying point for governments, health organizations and individuals to come together and work collaboratively towards solutions. The WHO spearheads international, regional and local events to raise awareness about the year’s designated theme and encourage action.
You can visit the WHO website to learn more about it, the 2024 theme and ongoing efforts to promote global health.
To celebrate World Health Day 2024, we’ve put together a quiz to test your knowledge on the connections, impacts and opportunities between human and planetary health.
