Today, at GLF Forests 2025, we’re airing Drops of Hope for the first time ever.
Filmed in Malawi, produced by the GLF team and featuring GLFx Lilongwe, this short documentary follows a group of Malawian farmers as they take on increasingly destructive droughts and floods caused by the climate crisis.
In a country where 80 percent of land is already degraded, these local stewards are inventing their own solutions: harvesting water, restoring soil and adopting climate-smart agriculture.
This inspiring story captures how knowledge is shared, how resilience is nurtured and how a deep sense of collective ownership is restoring both livelihoods and the land – sowing seeds of hope along the way.
