Cora van Oosten is a human geographer with a passion for landscapes. For more than 25 years she has worked in landscapes across the globe, mostly on long term assignments in Africa, Latin America and Southeast Asia. Currently, she works as senior project leader at Wageningen Centre for Development Innovation in the Netherlands, and is in charge of a project portfolio on landscapes, restoration, governance, capacity development and collaborative learning. Cora has recently been appointed as learning coordinator to the Global Landscape Forum (GLF), where she is in charge of developing a gateway to on/offline learning opportunities, tailor made curricula and other exciting learning events on landscape approaches.
“What truly drives me is the motivation of people who take care of their place and make it better in all possible ways. For me, bringing such people together in a collaborative learning process is one of the main goals of GLF. I am happy to be part of this great initiative.”
