Jack Durrell has more than 15 years experience providing strategic research and communication support to international development organizations, including the Red Cross, the International Water Management Institute (IWMI), and the International Network for Bamboo and Rattan (INBAR). Most recently, he was communications director at the International Center for Agricultural Research in the Dry Areas (ICARDA). Jack has an M.S. in Globalization and Development from the School of Advanced Studies, University of London, and a Ph.D. in geography from King’s College, London. He is currently working as an independent researcher and writer/editor.
