ABOUT THE WRITER

Pê Magalhães (Pedro Momag) is a Brazilian social scientist and ecosocialist activist, holding a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of Brasília and a Master’s degree in Development Management from the Ruhr University Bochum. He is currently working with the Youth in Landscapes Initiative as the GLF Youth Programme Officer. Throughout his career, he has mostly worked in NGOs and in international organizations, in addition to participating in different political parties and social movements – presently acting as an advocacy volunteer at the youth-led NGO A Vida no Cerrado.
