IUCN’s Global Forest and Climate Change Programme (GFCCP) has launched a call for abstracts on “Achieving deforestation-free commitments through forest landscape restoration.” The deadline is February 5, 2017.
Final papers will contribute new knowledge and innovative solutions for combatting deforestation while accelerating restoration. Specifically, the papers will help answer key questions within three thematic areas:

IUCN seeks contributions from our partners, members, research organisations, government institutions, private sector networks and operators with relevant experience implementing and/or supporting ongoing initiatives in relevant sectors: conservation, forestry, agriculture, water management, landscape approaches to planning and management of natural resources, restoration etc.
Authors interested in contributing should submit a 300-word proposal through the online application before February 5, 2017.
